Judy taught me how to make granny squares.
It was so much fun putting the colors together. |
I learned how to sew them all together.
Since it is for Max who is 6'5" I had to make it bigger and bigger and bigger. When I thought I was all done, I had to make one more row. |
I finally finished it! My first afghan!
Time for another project.
It looks great! I love it. I think some of your next projects should be an inga bag and a babette scarf because you can just use the same techniques that you already know. And then you should make a basket like the ones I made for Mom and Grandma. I like crafting with you.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Isn't there a great feeling of accomplishment when you put all that work into something and it comes out... right! Hope he appreciates that extra row.
ReplyDeleteyay! good job. I'm so glad you got into doing projects. The afghan came out great!
ReplyDeleteWow! When did you find time to do this with all the garden stuff going on? I'm impressed.
