| We watched rice pounding and making mochi rice cakes |

| We got to try mochi. I liked it - especially the red bean paste stuffing. |

| I loved the taiko drumming. |

| The kids had a great time too. |

I love mochi! I think all I've had is ice cream wrapped in it. It's delicious. It was one of the things that Katie discovered and introduced to us.
