Kayaking to the ice cream stand.

On the way to the ice cream stand. One of our favorite summer-time adventures is kayaking down the Serpentine to the ice cream stand. Here's my friend, Norma.

And, here's Diana. Amy was there too, but she and I were in the Banana Boat (tandem) so I didn't get any pictures of her.

The ice cream stand closed on Labor Day - always a sad time...

The serpentine is between East & North Ponds - part of the Belgrade Lakes chain in Maine. Gathering mussels sounds good too.
